I collected driftwood pieces from the beach that the ocean had shaped and polished over a countless number of years in unique and beautiful ways. I created this flowing 3D image by assembling, staining and finishing these natural forms to give them a new life and value. By collaborating creatively with the ocean in this way, I expressed admiration and gratitude to her for inspiring me.
